Announcing The Semantic Web 100 Tweetstream

Regular visitors will spot a new tab on the right. This is our Semantic Web 100 Tweetstream. These are some of the people that our editors watch on twitter to see what could be interesting stories. We thought you might like to see this stream in its raw form.
We have lots more we want to do with this. We want to find more people to follow, build our own little taxonomy and at some point when Twitter release it, we want to use metadata in Annotations.
Browse away in our Semantic Web 100 tweetstream, or read on for more about what we are doing with this.
Recommend Somebody
100 is an arbitrary number and the eagle-eyed may spot that we have not got 100 yet. That is deliberate. We know we have missed some really good sources. If you see somebody we should be following, please tell us via the little form you see below the main panels on the right.
Help Us Use Annotations In A Semantic Way
Twitter’s announcement about Annotations was overshadowed by Facebook’s announcement of their Open Graph.
It has also not yet been released.
We want to use it within Semantic Web 100 as soon as it is available. So we want to get your ideas on how to use this metadata. It could be as simple as replacing hash tags or putting links outside the 140 characters. But it is also possible that we could do something that added a bit more structure, that made it a better citizen within the Linked Data ecosystem.
Please tell us what you think in comments.
