Cambridge Semantics Named a Vendor to Watch
Cambridge Semantics has been named to Information Management’s list of “40 Vendors We’re Watching” for 2012: “Recognized for its approach to unified information access, Cambridge Semantics was one of 10 companies included in the data integration and data governance category. Now in its third year, the Information Management “40 Vendors We’re Watching” list recognizes vendors that deliver technologies and offer practical solutions to IT managers who are tasked with exploiting new opportunities for their organizations. Vendors are chosen by the magazine’s editors with the help of a dozen leading IT professional firms and analysts.”
It goes on, “The editors extensively research each organization’s products and sales—as well as consider overall IT buying trends and technology adoption rates—to pick 40 companies out of more than 100 nominees. ‘Cambridge Semantics is a newcomer to our annual list of up-and-coming vendor companies that are transforming the information management industry. Their Semantic Web-based open platform integrates business intelligence, data integration, and data governance to help end users turn multiple data sources into better business decisions in areas like compliance information management, IT asset management and ESB model management,’ noted Julie Langenkamp-Muenkel, Editor-in-Chief of Information Management.”
