PowerSearch Launches Version 5.0
PowerSearch has announced the release of PowerSearch 5.0: “This release includes predictive search analytics, file exclusion and advanced tagging functionality. Predictive search analytics give the user the ability to analyze a word and view how it is used in the context of the documents in the collection. It also provides a count of document hits and term frequency for the current word and synonyms or related words (and frequency counts of those terms) of the selected word. The ability to see similar words allows the user to modify their existing search criteria resulting in a more accurate document set. By being able to see the word in the context of the documents, further analysis of words near the current word can be performed as well. PowerSearch uses Princeton University’s WordNet lexical database project to suggest words by ‘conceptual-semantic and lexical relations’.”
Girts Jansons, founder and CEO of PowerSearch stated, “We are very excited about the launch of PowerSearch 5.0… Our goal with PowerSearch has always been to bring a cost-effective and efficient discovery product to the market. This latest version is the debut of our predictive search analytics that really puts the power in PowerSearch, changing the face of searching, identification and culling of electronic files.”
