Semsphere certifications target IT professionals and individual interested in gaining a sound and complete understanding of the basic concepts around the Semantic Web. Semsphere certifications last up to (5) five weekdays, offering the possibility to take the certification exam during the last day.

• Semantic Technologies Specialist. Basic level of the certification, affording a complete overview of the foundations of the Semantic Web, ontologies and application of semantic technology.
• Semantic Technologies Professional. This credential confirms the progressive expertise in the broad field of the semantic technologies and their advanced application. It covers topics on knowledge representation and reasoning, ontology lifecycle and machine learning.
• Academy Trainer. The highest level of certification guaranteeing superior knowledge in all the mentioned areas. IT affords the qualification to successfully train the various levels of certification and those specialties for which the trainer holds a valid Semsphere credential.

Specialized Courses

These are practical, thematic courses which target individuals who have either completed any of the levels of the certification or have some knowledge about semantic technologies, but need specific training in a given area.

• Languages: These courses afford students the means to comfortably work with ontology languages and the popular syntaxes of the Semantic Web, such as RDF, OWL and WSML.
• Techniques: These courses carefully present the prominent techniques, methodologies, and best practices in the implementation and application of semantic technologies.
• Tools: These courses have a very practical focus. They afford participants the means to comfortably utilize and master ontology modeling suites and semantic execution environments.
• Fields of application: These courses provide a pragmatic foundation for the application of semantic technologies to a specific field, such as networked multimedia, services and service oriented architectures or business process management, among others.

Tailored Education

Tailored Education is custom‐made and on‐demand courses targeting companies that seek, for example, a cross‐functional overview of the Semantic Web, or a specific non‐main‐stream technology, currently not available in our catalogue. The duration varies depending on the requirements of the client, ranging from 1 day introductory seminars to various weeks, depending on the specific needs.
