GHG Corporation is looking for a Senior Software Developer in Houston, TX. The company is looking for someone with the following qualifications: “At least 7 years of solid experience in JAVA Programming and J2EE/JavaEE based Web application development. Experience in using frameworks and tools such as JSF, Hibernate, Spring, XML, EJB, JSP, JDBC, ANT, JUnit, and Log4J. Experience in developing Web Service components using one or more of the following technologies: SOAP, REST, XML-RPC, WSDL, XML/XSLT, JAXB, JAXP. Experience in developing applications with multi-tier architectures. Knowledge and Experience in Relational Database systems (Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server) as well as proficiency in enterprise environments.”

Preferred qualifications include: “Experience using Semantic Web technologies to develop software based solutions. Experience with any of the following:  Using modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, ERWIN, Protege, TopBraid. Using Semantic Web based Languages (e.g. RDF, OWL, RIF, SWRL, OWL-S), XML, and other metadata languages -Using Jena, Sesame APIs, SPARQL or similar tool sets. Familiarity with any common semantic resources such as SKOS, Dublin Core, SNOMED, W3C Time, NCI Thesaurus, MeSH. Prior experience developing software in a Biomedical Research or Clinical Care domain.”
