IBM is looking for a Semantic Wed Intern at Research Triangle Park, NC. The post states, “As the Semantic Web Intern, candidate will develop a Sales Transaction Support (STS) Quote-To-Cash Process Collaboration Server as a proof of concept using semantic web technologies.” Expectations of this position include: “Build a prototype for STS Quote To Cash process execution server. This will be a prototype capability that would include, in working mode: Definition and description of STS ontology (vocabularies); Creation of cloud-based tool allowing to enter/update/retrieve STS (Sales Transaction Support) vocabularies (process definitions) and enable process transformation collaboration model with social, mobile, analytics, cloud; Capture and management of process execution pain points and collaborative capture of ideas by practitioners to improve.”

 

Qualifications for the internship include: “RDF, SPARQL, URI, Linked Data. JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSS, HTML. Back-end web database development.” A high school diploma or GED is required, as is fluency in English. A bachelors degree is preferred, but not essential.
