Invertix Corporation is looking for a Software Engineer in Annapolis, MD. This position will “Provide support to the customer supporting a system for automated event detection, aggregation and reasoning.” Qualifications include: “Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) years experience programming in Java, JavaScript, Ajax, and/or C++. Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) years working in the Linux environment. Demonstrated experience using Semantic Web technologies, specifically RDF and/or OWL. Demonstrated experience designing, coding, testing, and debugging software using RDF Schema and query Languages (such as SPARQL or Prolog). Demonstrated experience supporting a project using a triple-store such as AllegroGraph. Active Top Secret/SCI and Polygraph.”

Desired qualifications include: “Within the last three (3) years, demonstrated experience supporting a project using standard relational and object-oriented modeling and constraint languages. Demonstrated experience developing, designing, coding, testing, and debugging with JBOSS, Eclipse, and/or Subversion. Demonstrated experience developing, designing, coding, testing, and debugging with Prolog, SQL (Search and Query Language), Perl, and/or Python. Demonstrated experience applying ontologies to NLP applications. Demonstrated experience with converting and handling multilingual encodings, specifically UTF-8.”
