The post states, “The Open University’s Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) is looking for a Project Officer to work on the newly funded Linked Data Project. Linked Data is an exciting field of research development with practical application at The Open University. Working in the Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) under the supervision of key academics in the field, you will be responsible for supporting the continuous operation and update of the Open University’s linked data platform (data.open.ac.uk), as well as its use in a variety of applications from various departments of the Open University, most notably the Open Media Unit.”

It goes on, “You will integrate a team working in collaboration with the Digital Engagement and the Open Media Units of the Open University to create linked data-based tools and systems related to improving the discoverability of open educational resources. This is likely to include working with external partners.”
