L-3 Communications is looking for an Enterprise Architect/Software Development Lead in Fort Belvoir, VA. The post states, “In this role you will Lead a team, in an agile development environment utilizing Java/J2EE and other open source tools to develop software products and applications. You will functionality provided by the tools include but is not limited to: data cleansing/reformatting to facilitate natural language processing, entity extraction from multiple data sources both structured and un-structured as part of a larger Intelligence Analytic Suite; and Geo-Spatial representation of entity resolution.”

Qualifications for the position include: “Current and activeTop Secret/SCI CI Polygraph. Proven experience leading software development projects as a technical and/or functional lead, and must have in-depth understanding of OOD concepts and advanced J2EE technologies. Ability to translate and present high level ontology concepts and implementation’s to senior semi-technical audiences. In depth experience designing and developing computational models expressed in semantic languages such as Web Ontology Language (OWL), Resource Description Framework (RDF) or Common Logic (CL).   Extensive experience creating and documenting knowledge bases consisting of ontologies and semantic rules. In depth experience in Semantic-web or ontology applications and RDF or OWL or similar modern reasoning and knowledge representation (KR) framework such as Knowledge Interchange Format (KIF) or Standard Upper Ontology- Knowledge Interchange Format (SUO-KIF).”
