Northrop Grumman is looking for an Ontology Technical Lead in Annapolis, MD. Responsibilities of this position include the following: “Maintain and Update the Ontology model to adapt to changing site designs. Ensure the ontology expresses all the required Configuration Items and relationship and is properly instantiated for each site in Service Manager 7. Coordinate ontology plans and activities with other related/dependent measurement and monitoring projects. Provide technical leadership and management oversight of the ontology team.”

Qualifications for the position include: “Bachelor’s degree in a technically related field plus minimum nine years of System Engineering experience preferred. Additional applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Must be familiar with the basics of hardware and software engineering and with large-scale system development and deployment. Familiarity with Service Manager 7. Familiarity with Semantic Web Technologies (RDF, OWL). Must be a self-starter who is people-oriented and comfortable working with a wide range of junior and senior staff, including government and contractors. Must be able to plan and manage complex tasks.”
