According to the post, “This position will support the development of semantic technology based infrastructure and solutions in a large scale computing environment.  The position requires a strong understanding of W3C based semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, etc.).  This position requires working with customers to understand customer issues and leveraging a small team to determine the right semantic solution. The candidate should possess leadership, strong software development skills and the ability to work in rapidly developing environment.”

Qualifications for the position include: “Understanding of W3C technologies and semantic standards. Strong experience developing and implementing information technology solutions; experience developing and implementing semantic based solutions is preferred. 3 – 5 years experience developing Web Services, programming with object oriented and/or declarative languages and working with XML technologies (XSLT, XQuery, XPath, etc.) 1 – 2 years exposure to semantic technologies, Semantic Web (Web 3.0) concepts and technologies; strong working knowledge of Resource Description Framework (RDF), Web Ontology Language (OWL), and/or similar standards. 2 – 3 years experience developing web-based solutions using HTML, CSS, Javascript (including libraries and frameworks like YUI), J2EE, JSP, Struts, JSF, and JSON.”
