According to the post, “This position will support the development of semantic technology based infrastructure and solutions in a large scale computing environment. The position requires a strong understanding of W3C based semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, etc.). This position requires working with customers to understand customer issues and leveraging a small team to determine the right semantic solution. The candidate should possess leadership, strong software development skills and the ability to work in rapidly developing environment.”

Qualifications include: “Understanding of W3C technologies and semantic standards. Strong experience developing and implementing information technology solutions; experience developing and implementing semantic based solutions is preferred. 3 – 5 years experience developing Web Services, programming with object oriented and/or declarative languages and working with XML technologies (XSLT, XQuery, XPath, etc.). 1 – 2 years exposure to semantic technologies, Semantic Web (Web 3.0) concepts and technologies; strong working knowledge of Resource Description Framework (RDF), Web Ontology Language (OWL), and/or similar standards.”
