QinetiQ North America’s Services and Solutions Group is looking for a Senior Web Services Engineer/Architect in Alexandria, VA. According to the post, “This position will construct the overall system architecture working collaboratively with other team members. The approach is a functionally-based model-driven engineering approach that requires knowledge of engineering and architecture methodologies, frameworks, and artifacts.  This ranges from high-level presentation drawings, to UML and other engineering artifacts, as well as architecture artifacts such as those described by the DoDAF (or equivalent) framework.”

It continues, “The position will be working with a small, highly efficient team of web developers moving the customer from older technologies to the desired end state using services, web semantic technologies and cloud computing. This position will play a key role in enhancing our overall set of capabilities with a solid focus on application security controls. This role spends a significant amount of time proactively architecting requirement-based, testable security solutions into the data integrity layer of the entire set of services that provide capability to our customer’s stakeholders.”
