Data modeling and defining ontologies such as RDF/OWL.  Rule/reasoning engines such as JENA, JESS and Pellet. Data mining and machine learning techniques. Linux kernel programming and Layer 2 networking.  Computer vision, natural feature detection and tracking. Computational Neuroscience.”
