According to the post, “SAIC is looking for a J2EE Software Developer in Alexandria, VA to provide application design and development support to the Deputy Chief Management Officer (DCMO) Technology and Innovation Directorate (TI). The developer will participate in full lifecycle application development including analysis, design, and development of a J2EE web application based platform. Candidate must be willing to learn and incorporate applicable emerging and SOA technologies; i.e. as OWL/RDF, SPARQL, XSLT, cloud computing and web services.”

Qualifications for the position include: “Enterprise Java Beans (EJB’s), Tomcat, Glassfish, XSLT Development experience, GUI Design/Visualization (not to mean HTML only), OWL/RDF (Semantic Web) knowledge/experience, Jena, ARQ, OWL API, Other Semantic Specifications(SWRL, RIF, R2RML, SPIN..), SPARQL, SQL, Oracle, Data Modeling/Database Programming, JDBC, Requirements Analysis and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Secret clearance required… Required skills include design, documentation, implementation and debugging of applications using J2EE, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Tomcat, JDBC, relational databases and other web technologies. Development experience and use of UI components using GWT and/or Java Swing or similar frameworks is desirable. Must be able to design, document, and develop software full thread functionality including front end GUI and mid-tier J2EE web application.”
