According to the post, the company is looking for “A Senior Staff Engineer to perform analysis, design, implementation, and testing of advanced clinical informatics software and knowledge systems. The position includes being part of a small team aimed at spearheading early clinical informatics development efforts by establishing early business requirements, service and knowledge oriented architectures with execution of rapid prototypes with minimal supervision.”

Qualifications include the following: “10+ years healthcare enterprise development experience with demonstrated growth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills paramount. Critical thinker, expected to speak out and defend views. Quick learner, especially in the areas of technology. Good understanding of the software development life cycle, architecture, design, software test automation and test-driven development. SQL, TSQL, BCP and bulk transfer techniques, MS SQL Server. Java/J2EE, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, HTML.  Knowledge of knowledge management semantic technologies, OWL, RDF preferred. Experience with interface development and terminology standards (such as HL7, LOINC, SNOMED) preferred. Development experience with Siemens ECR required.”
