The post states, “We are seeking a Software Engineer, Staff within our CMIO organization… A senior level engineer to perform analysis, design, development, and testing of advanced clinical informatics, knowledge systems, and business analytics software. The Software Engineer will work as part of a small and agile team aimed at spearheading early clinical informatics development efforts by establishing early business requirements, service and knowledge oriented architectures with execution of rapid prototypes with minimal supervision.”

Qualifications for the position include: “5 plus years enterprise development experience preferably in the healthcare industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills paramount. Quick learner, especially in the areas of technology. Good understanding of the software development life cycle, architecture, design, software test automation and test driven development. SQL, TSQL, BCP and bulk transfer techniques, MS SQL Server. Java/J2EE, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, HTML/ Knowledge of knowledge management semantic technologies, OWL, RDF preferred. Experience with interface development and terminology standards (such as HL7, LOINC, SNOMED) preferred. Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) desired.”
