Library Linked Data Incubator Group Publishes Final Report

The W3C has announced the publication of the Library Linked Data Incubator Group Final Report; Use Cases; and Datasets, Value Vocabularies, and Metadata Element Sets. Coralie Mercier, the Incubator Activity Lead, commented, “The mission of the Library Linked Data Incubator Group was to help increase the global interoperability of library data on the Web by focusing on the potential role of Linked Data technologies.” Read more

Library Linked Data Incubator Group formed at W3C

The mission of the Library Linked Data Incubator Group is to help increase global interoperability of library data on the Web, by bringing together people involved in Semantic Web activities—focusing on Linked Data—in the library community and beyond, building on existing initiatives, and identifying collaboration tracks for the future. The charter of the group is available on-line; the home page of the group also includes information on how one can join the group.
